Welcome,
Welcome to the year-end holiday edition of our newsletter. Not only is this the last edition for the year, it also marks the first decade of the 21st century coming to an end.
It seems like only yesterday the world was buzzing with excitement as plans were made to welcome the new millennium. Businesses were scrambling to "protect" themselves against the Y2K bug, and everyone was making resolutions to make 2000 the best year ever.
There have been some amazing achievements in the world this last decade, but the question is... have you achieved everything you wanted?
Any great achievement, whether personal or professional, needs to start with a goal. So if you haven't yet set your goals to achieve great things for 2011, now's the time! (And as a refresher, here's a previous article outlining the essential steps in creating effective goals.)
Additionally, highlights in this issue include a new Christmas lead-up productivity survey, new Top 10 Characteristics of a Good Manager, new job search data, 10 ways to build trust in your organisation, and Julian Assange – treasonous villain, Nobel nominee, or a great leader?
If you missed a previous edition of this newsletter visit our archives. If you know others that would appreciate this newsletter please feel free to
forward this email.
Wishing you a wonderful holiday season, and much success and happiness for 2011!
